You were walking
You were walking down the road
and the echo of your scent
shockwaves over moonlight.
A star flickered high above
A tulip, purple, green and pink
opened its mouth.
The memory of a kiss untaken
illuminated through dawn.
You were there no more
I was standing faraway
from words to write your name
on a scented leaf.
