It is so interesting that history repeats itself.

At the start of the Iranian revolution in 1979 the clergy who were about to hold on to power targeted women and the restrictions on women in every aspect of life began to show its ugly face.
Women though resisted up to the present time.
Now, four decades later women in the neighboring country Afghanistan is going through the same phase after the Taliban take over.
These two photos with 43 years in between demonstrate the encounter of women with the forces of darkness which still lurk in our region.

A brave woman in Kabul is arguing with a Taliban in similar way. Isn’t that sad?
